Provided help and assistance to children in ages raging form 8 to 12 in coding (Scratch and Woof JS) and STEM activities and classes, at the Coding Space Summer Camp, located at the Saint George School in Santo Domingo.
I offered one-on-one instruction to kids while they were working on their coding projects. Allowing them to think critically and creatively about their code. Instead of just telling them the answer, I would ask them questions so that they could figure it out by themselves.
Also directed hands-on activities, letting the kids create in a fun and safe way.
I would also play card games and draw with the children to create a warm and relaxed environment, making sure that they were having a good time.
I would also stay with my fellow staff members to clean up after, and wait until all the kids were piked up, and have a little meeting of the activities of the next day.
