Angie Lugo

I am passionate about human behavior in every sense. I graduated in industrial psychology in 2011 and was able to have work experience in the area of Human Resources, as well as recruitment and selection, applying psychological tests, etc. In 2013 I was able to enter to work at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, the most important University in my country because it is the oldest (1538). Since that moment I have worked as an admissions evaluator, a

pplying performance and psychological tests to new students, guiding them about their university life and everything related to the University. At the same time, I was able to work for four years as an administrator of one of the university's extensions in one of the provinces, managing its financial resources and administrative staff, guiding administrative staff and management staff. I prepared myself with a Master's Degree in Institutional Guidance and Psychopedagogical Intervention (2016) and in turn I did School Psychology (2018), and continue contributing to this educational area that I enjoy so much. Currently, I work for the Department of Planning and Development of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, I also work as a Teacher in the area of

Institutional and Academic Guidance of the University, there I teach students to better adapt to the University and guide them vocationally about what is best for their college career.

Avoid the desertion of hundreds students that get into de University each semester , giving them the right counseling and guiding. Listening to them with the heart their needs and their life projects. Being part of that important moment where they have no one to guide them correctly is my main goal.

"Work in something that you would do even without a pay" that's Educational and Counseling for me honestly . I could do it even for free. I am the one who should pay for the amazing reward of helping others !!
